Cinque Terre

It’s like you’re dreaming when you enter Cinque Terre, part of UNESCO World Heritage. It is a strip of about 10 kilometers, which consists of five colorful fishing villages.

Monterosso al Mare is the largest village and here you will find a long boulevard with wonderful beaches.
Vernazza is a prosperous town, it has a larger harbor and it is the only village on the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy. It is known for its picturesque streets, charming houses and hidden loggias.
Corniglia is not located directly by the sea, but on a rock that protrudes above the water. Terraces with vines is the image you see on the way to this village. From the coast you have to climb 365 steps to reach this village, but it gives you a beautiful view!
Manarola is the oldest village and has photogenic colored houses. Enjoy the fantastic views and eat fresh fish on one of the terraces.
In Riomaggiore you will find many bars, restaurants and terraces, but the best thing is that the houses seem to have stuck to the rocky coast.

Do you have the time? Then enjoy the hiking trails between the villages and through the area, these are incredibly beautiful!
